  • Karthikam Special – Mahanyasa Purvaka Rudrabhishekam – One Day

    Mahanyasa Purvaka Rudrabhishekam:

    • Mahanyasa: “Maha” means great, and “Nyasa” refers to the ritual of consecration or placement. Mahanyasa is a powerful and elaborate Vedic ritual where the various deities are invoked and consecrated in different parts of the body through specific mantras. This is performed before Rudrabhishekam to purify and prepare the devotee and the environment for the main ritual.
    • Rudrabhishekam: This is a sacred ritual where the Shiva Linga, representing Lord Shiva, is bathed and anointed with various offerings like water, milk, honey, curd, ghee, and other sacred substances while chanting the Rudra Namakam and Chamakam from the Yajurveda.
